C+ is too forgiving
by Jadednox

While some people might find the Comcast ads to be mesmerizing, I, on the other hand, find them absolutely atrocious and tend to turn the tv off or switch channels when one rears its ugly head. As my father so intelligently asked when he first saw one, "can they seriously call that singing?" I get the impression that Comcast is taking a few cues from the recent Subway commercial song craze, however Comcast simply falls flat. The actors sound bored and in pain, which, now that I think about it, makes a lot of sense. It is rather reminiscent of how I feel waiting for Comcast to fix my internet connection.

I agree. The commercials are extremely unimaginative and boring. If I were a sane company exec, I would fire the ad company right away. And as far as the singing is concerned, a Gregorian chant is much more entertaining. Even if I was offered a choice of Comcast, I would not choose them, just on the commercial alone.

I agree. The chirpy, chanting voices are annoying. The ad is cheerful in an obnoxious, phony way, like a high school classmate gushing about how they're so glad to see you at the reunion. And the ad will not convince me to switch to comcast, because I've heard far too many examples of their customer services outrages.

I just can't believe that MSN is posting this article on their front page. Comcast is horrible and firing them and goingto at&t U-Verse was the best move I made over a year ago.
