Dumb guess: Gun violence (or risk taking) versus non?

Men and women break differently. Or, at least, that is what the top post is claiming. I think it's a common error to then generalize from those differences to the unbroken state. Broken men end up in jail. There seem to be an unusual proportion of broken women in the fray. It's a less serious break than the male equivalent, and possibly because of that, one sees it about in the world more (it looks like).

I'm posting from jail right now.

I killed a man for putting sugar in my cup of tea.

no - it's just that big-brained hysteria is more obvious in women than in men ...

try singing that at San Quentin ...

Oh, agreed. I think it's as true in the real world. What are the female equivalent of men in prison? I think you do encounter them walking about and it's less noticeable and they may be less likely to commit crimes or be violent - but they're no more rational. The fray appeals to their type of break, it appears.

men break more than women, and more seriously. we have an easier time ignoring/accepting mildly broken men.

Stick your head out and tell me if they're still rootin' and tootin' and shootin'.

And what did they mean with the "Neville Chamberlain" crack?

Re: And she aches just like a woman

Even though I implied the opposite, I do agree with that in a functional or gender-blind sense of "broken". Slightly idiosyncratically, in this case, I am comparing across genders by taking ranks: the bottom x% of men are in prison. The bottom x% of women are not in prison. Where are they? What are they? (fraying, the top post [jocularly] suggests)

There are more males on the fray overall, more male nuts, and probably more male nuttiness (as a percentage of males). We ignore mild male nuttiness, in part, precisely because they aren't so bad when ranked in the population. One might think in terms of assortative mating. Anyway, I'm open to contradiction.

are you also open to recusing yourself?

I've noticed there sure is a lot of broken people on the fray--I'll have to give some more thought over to whether there are more (as a percentage) women. Maybe broken women are more attracted to fake violence than regular women, whereas normal men might prefer fake violence to real.
