OMG

The new administration hasn't a clue what do about the economy except spend trillions on pork, but they have time to play revisionist history with Bush's biography. If that's their priority, we are in so much trouble you can't even imagine.

I know, right! Because President Obama is personally sitting there, thinking about what to change and then doing it.

Its absolutely true that not only does he personally do everything the federal government does, but he also is incapable of multi-tasking. Thats why the federal government is so inefficient, as you allude to - there are almost 20 million employees of the federal government in the United States, and none of them do anything except the president! Right?

And, what excatly do you do, efraker? Have you ever had to clean up a mess left left by others?

But, back to the point.

Here's what the Bush bio should read, in total: "My work here is done."

Like his stellar academic life, his heroic military life, and his incredibly successful business life.

If you live in Texas, perhaps you know about his 100% popularity rating as governor (just kidding).

Look at the nation and the Republican Party, efraker. You have the FFF ( Former First Fratboy) to thank for virtually all of that.

Attila, I think you meant to respond to the poster that efraker was responding to. Either that, or you REALLY have no sarcasm detection :)

FWIW, my theory (completely unsubstantiated), is that a Bush staffer changed the bio in the last days of 43's reign, and it took awhile for the website to reflect that change. I don't think the 'new' wording reflects any kind of political motive from the Obama side.

Another possibility is some Bush "sleeper agents" are still on the WH staff and made the changes to further immortialize King George the 43!
