What in the hell were we doing building a road in Georgia??,
by hellsjoker

according to the post there were Black men working on a road and black people do not normally live there so where did they come from?, if the usa why, what were we doing there.

In the part "When he got to Tbilisi, he asked one of his government contacts what the story was with the black guys working on the road. The explanation was that Washington was funding the construction of the road but didn't trust the Georgian government not to steal the money so they'd sent their own road workers. He concluded triumphantly: "So, if the U.S. doesn't trust Georgia to build a road by themselves, do you think they would trust them to start a war?"

so the article is saying that we actually started the Georgin war, why, the only thing I can think of is is it not close to russian naval forces?, could it not not be used to slow or block a russian armor advance, place missile and artilery sites?, got to be a reason that we would do such a thing and I bet good old Bush knows what it is.

I think his point with that little anecdote was how paranoid people can be. And obviously it's not limited to Ukranians either.

checked the atlas and found that Georgia is between two seas and borders Russia, it is the overland gateway to the middle east for russia, and would also make a great location for a missile base or air field with in striking distance of Russian Naval Forces.

The Russians are paranoid? Are you insane! Try this: if Russia were building a road 50 miles from the Texas border in Mexico, you would not call my fear of that paranoid!

It is insulting to the people of the area that the US is even in there.

And how come Russia cannot build a steel plant in Ohio, when they wanted to, which would have given people in Ohio great jobs, but YOU can go build all this stuff in Georgia and arm Georgia to the teeth?

Also, the EU is insane...on one hand, they recognize Kosovo, which unilaterally succeeded from Serbia...on the other hand, they tell Belarus that if they recognize South Ossetia or Abkhasia, the EU will mess with them.

What freaking HYPOCRISY! I HATE that Saakashvilli and YushORANGEMAN puppet pieces of war mongering murderers anyway, they are DISGUSTING little puppets who care nothing for their own people.

To base a theory that America is building a road close to the Russian border entirely on the fact that three black men were seen working on the project is clearly paranoid. Or do you believe that all black people are agents of the United States? I was was served in my local shop this morning by a black man with a thick African accent. Obviously a CIA sleeper...

For all I know America could be behind every building project in Georgia. Washington could be locating missiles in the region, constructing bases etc. It's possible, but I've seen no evidence for it. And sorry, but my standard for burden of proof is slightly more than the ethnicity of three workers on the road side.

Incidentally, why exactly do you hate Yuchshenko? Because, as a democratically elected leader, he chooses to ally himself with the US and the EU, rather than those who sought to deprive him of power through electoral fraud, and likely attempted to poison him? Forgive me candoxx, but your points might be more worthy if, in your posts you didn't rant against the EU and the US, both democratic institutions, and the democratic leader of a sovereign nation, whilst making not a peep against Russia.
