I do understand your opinion but choose to be neutral in most things that don't directly involve myself or my family. That neutrality also extends to you. A good friend of mine as well as my sister are intensely passionate people. When they are in the midst of some sort of personal vendetta their level of motivation astounds me. In the midst of their anger they are exceedingly happy with the fruits of their actions.

Over the years I've seen them develop one medical disorder after another. To each his own, I cherish my health, so even if I agree with them that someone has offended them I avoid joining them by twisting my jockies in a knot too. In my 58 years I've never had a single case of hives or shingles and I'm not ruled by IBS. Catering to an over critical nature does have it's drawbacks and may shorten life expectancy.

All the festering and stewing over not getting a unanimous positive recognition of your point by all posters here may be in vain. Some will say almost anything just to make the point go away, even if what they say doesn't make much sense. That's about all you're going to get out of them. With respect then I must say that while your summary and your council is well put and full of common sense and accurate views-----it is all seeming to be from a perspective where truth and facts are just stuff to be spun sucessfully sometimes and unsucessfully other times. Where the best use of time and effort is based on whether we are "winning" or getting personal satisfaction from something. Theres plenty of that view on the Fray and plenty less well written about than coming from you. It seems it is the KFS way.

But I come from BB where for all the yelling people really care about what is right and werong and accurate and not accurate. Facts matter. Not that people cant respectfully disagree about what is right and true but they still believe all along there IS a right and wrong and true and false most of the time! Imagine saying "lets all bail on this noisy politics stuff---noone will get closure or victory on this deadend Gaza issue or whether abortion rights should be regulated??!! It happened alright. The only thing is, I have a certain respect for a person who has the capacity to show compassion, understanding and kindness for a fellow human being. If that person has an unacceptable quirk, within reason of course, I would not condone their behavior but would still continue to accept them for their finer qualities.

There is a place to work with them on the evil of their ways. An open board is not really the right place to tackle such a problem. Much can be accomplished by generating a sound relationship with this persons good side. Lord willing, this person may invest enough commitment to the understanding people he/she is surrounded with that self shame will hopefully limit and eventually erase the questionable behavior.

Straight up confrontation or gaining a group of people who would openly admit to this persons guilt on an open board is no way to approach this. We know what happened. I believe that many here would simply like to see it handled in a more peaceful, patient and understanding way. Therefore many here will avoid taking sides or talking about it at all costs. Even I don't feel too comfortable talking about this, but for the sake of peace I do.

But how then is it possible for you to hate liberals but still claim your allegiance to all Americans? In my defense I will say thgat right off right away without delay Dennys friends just started blaming the messengers and saying it was all a lying.....vendeta from the past about which I for one dont know or care. If that hadnt happened I would be long gone already. They started "name calling" on me right off ("stalker" "hater" "poser" "liar" "personal attacks" ect.) and then straight up denying there was any possible truth to the accusations. Was it a inconvenient truth??! "Name calling" is what one of those name calling Denny enablers (Mary Anne) is now piously saying is so bad, in a new thread here on KFS. Meaning me and others I guess.
