Discuss different ideas? Ha. I think I have had ONE incident in which a poster who disagreed with me, was exchanging in a respectable debate with me.

Other than that it was full of intolerant "liberals" who resorted to personal attacks of they disliked my ideas...oh and they insisted on referring to me as a "con" because they cannot for a minute imagine a mind can be larger than one label or the other.

By the way, your disdain over the boards not being run and controlled by one mindset like the magazine (Slate) itself, is telling. People like you (typical "libs") cannot stand it when other ideals, and other opiniosn exist and actually get posted!

Seems to me like you come here to have your ego stroked by others just like yourself, with little or no interest at all in any serious discussion of "different ideas". It is difficult to try to "discuss" anything when anything "different" than you believe is dismissed as merely "brainless" "idiots" " spewing hate".

Yep. Like the label "Liberal" which I have the common sense to out in quotations instead of just assigning it to anyone who disagrees with me. But yeah, I pretty much am doing it now since it has been done to me since 2001 when I started posting here. It took me 8 years to get tired of it. While all of you began and end that way.
