Why do American Tax Payers hate..
by Thevail

American taxpayers?

It's Ok to give billions to huge banks...It's Ok to bail out huge insurance companies..it's Ok to give billions in tax cuts to people making over a quarter of a million a year (for the last 8 years actually)..

But it's too too awful to even think about giving billions to average American taxpayers?!? Because that's going to cost our children and grandchildren?!!?

Um..so do the billions we'll never see that went to and are still going to these massive multi-national banks and hedge funds and insurance companies!!

So most Americans are OK with mortgaging their children and grandchildren's futures for the benefit of big business..but never to pay off the house that kid or grandkid might actually inherit?

How freaking masochistic are people? Seriously?

Do they give themselves forty lashes before bed each night to purify their souls too?

Most Americans are not happy with the bailout and how it was handled.

They also do not like the pork in the Stimulus package. They do want Congress to act wisely.I doubt that will happen, but do think the package out of the Senate will be better than the House pork barrel.

Yes of course they listen to stupid "repub" spin, why should they listen to stupid "demo" spin...lol

Try this on for size,

Do just a small amount of REAL research and you know, like, make up your own mind for a change. Now that would really be change you can believe in.

Quit listening to the one trying to sell the cow patty and look at what they are selling. If it looks like a cow patty and smells like a cow pattyit must be a pile of poop.

Take a real look at what is being spent, where its being spent, whom is spending it and when it will be spent. Then think about if it is something you personally would do. Then decide the reason you would or would not do it. Attach personal values to this reason. Does it really make sense?

Make sure that what you say is what really what would make sense, and whatever that decision is find out how you would convince your grandfather it makes sense. This last test is usally the one that gets me. Most of the time if I am in the relm of the, "well it just isn't fair" catagory I know he would look at me and say, "Boy are you just stupid or what?"pretty soon I firured out its not how you feel that should rule sound decision making, maybe I should look at a few facts and proven reasoning before I hit the feeling button to make up my pea brain.

Anyway, stop listening to the endless political rhetoric and media banter. Read... then think...then decide.

Paul

P.S. If you must base your decesions on what others say, at least make an effort to listen to both sides. You'll soon figure out whom is really looking out for you. And by the way... its not the politicians in Washington.
