Yes, do close that base and outlaw interrogations of those poor Muslims who are only trying to protect their right to kill us. I say, because I lived in the Middle East and know my enemy, it would be so much better just to give them a shot, get the information and then shoot them and gain two very important advantages. They would not go to paradise because those who have not yet murdered an infidel would not have gained access to the pearly gates and all those recycled virgins Those terrorists who have already killed have done their part for Islam and we should be kind and dispatch them to Islamic Paradise as quickly as possible. When all the ones we already have are dead - institute a NO PRISONERS policy. It would be much less advantageous to a Muslim if Paradise were not the carrot at the end of the murdering. I really hate it when naive Americans truly believe that these are people who can be reasoned with and who can be "befriended". LOL
Maybe we should all attend the school for torture so that we can survive the purge of our country that has been initiated by stupid, ignorant Americans who simply do not know what they are doing to themselves and to our country. This "journalist/soldier" if you could call him that - is a coward. All soldiers undergo training to withstand torture - even High School kids in the equivalent of ROTC go through some of it in other countries. From my experience in 1967 and again in 1973 - torture was not necessary - they were all such complete wimps when faced with real soldiers instead of innocent unarmed civilians that they were peeing in their pants. Yes - put a gun to their heads and as soon as they piss themselves, FIRE! Just do it off shore. This is one thing that is better done "outsourced" - because you do not want these bastards on our turf. When the question comes down to Them or Us? The choice should be clear and concise - US of course.
I think you became a Journalist because the integrity and guts that it takes to be a soldier was just beyond your capability. The term Journalist in the U.S. has become kind of a joke - like Stephanopolis - you know, the guy who debriefs the White House everyday so he knows what to say on TV for his real bosses - now that is your kind of "journalist". I don't think they tortured you enough - your panties are still in a wad stopping the flow of oxygen to your brain.
