Cut taxes--even on those evil, profit making companies--and get the government OUT OF THE WAY and watch us Americans clear up this mess. 43% of wage earners pay NO INCOME TAXES while the top 1% of wage earners pay almost 40% of all income taxes, and only make 19% of all income. Shouldn't everyone in this country pay something for what they receive?????? Nancy Pelosi is a hack. Remember her comment that increased funding for birth control IS a stimulus since the country spends sooooo much money on health care and education for kids. She wasn't talking about the pill, she was talking about abortion. What a mental giant. Good grief people, is this the best the country has to offer?????

No, it is not possible that that is why they voted against it. Seriously, they've voted twice to just MAIL CHECKS to all Americans. It isn't as if republicans have standards or a clue.

Responding that we voted to mail checks is NOT a retort...especially as the key word in that was CHECK. Not to mention, the more mail...the more jobs for the postal workers. So, in effect, our policy did the same thing...sent out money and created jobs.

Wait a minute -- you missed the memo? Obama wants to stimulate the economy with $800 billion of debt (with plenty more debt on its way!) and we to demand bigger government., more government., more bureaucracy from Reid and Pelosi with careful oversight from Barney Frank. At least that's what most of the libs that voice their opinion here are demanding!

I know, I know, it's just so rude to discuss reality when conservatives are busy talking about the pretend US that exists in their heads.
