Haggard and this author come across as naive to anyone who doesn't share their belief system. If you say homosexuality is not just wrong but a mortal sin and you are a homosexual then of course your life is going to be upside down. The problem here isn't the homosexuality, the problem is a belief system that abhors it.

People like Haggard who have fallen from their false ideal deserve to live a miserable life. I will feel pity for the blameless victim. But Haggard is not blameless when he himself has made it so clear what the offense is. So sorry Ted, the gravy train has run out.

I still can't believe the multi-billion dollar industry known as religion is sheltered from taxation.
