Bipartisanship or Surrender

First, I am a die hard conservative. Second, I have found lib criticism of conservative pricipals over the last few years laughable. The new lib mantra is that Bush's Presidency shows conservatism does not work. Conservatives know our problems now are not because of conservatism's failure, but in the failure of Bush to follow conservative principals. Bush spent like a sailor both on military matters and on domestic issues, i.e., prescription drug entitlements. Congress is filled with Republicans in name only types and our Presidential candidate was a travesty. McCain is no conservative.

So the GOP got beat in the fall. The usual talk of bipartisanship springs anew. What is bipartisanship? To the libs, it is conservatives letting libs do whatever they want. If we object, we are "haters", "intolerant", etc. When Bush tried to be bipartisan, he receives no credit. So now we cons are supposed to grab our ankles and let the chosen one ram a "stimulus" package up our asses that won't do anything other than massively increase debt, provide tax relief to those who don't pay taxes and provides 300,000,000 million in funds to teach people in Kenya how to pull out, err, I mean family planning. Pelosi has the nads to go on ABC and defend this boondoggle.

These bailouts are and will be a disaster. The banks are totalling missusing funds without accountability. Obama's true goal is to create a super voting majority of people who receive more in goodies from the Government than they pay in. When that happens, the American way of life is gone and people such as myself who already pay six figures in taxes are going to be screwed. Hello Europe.

Bipartisanship is just a code word to libs to allow them to do what they want. Screw bipartisanship. Now is the time for true cons to stand up to this bullshit and hold Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank and Dodd accountable. Let the libs pass there goody bag legislation. They have the votes. Let them blame Bush for every hangnail from now until 2010. Let's hold Obama and the lib congress to the same standards they held Bush. Boy a lot of bipartisanship there!

When did Bush try to be bipartisan?
I am neither a liberal nor

a conservative and I voted for Hillary Clinton and then for McCain because I was NOT insane enough to put a first term U.S. Seantor rookie into the Oval Office in a time of national crisis.

That said, I can tell you that the democrats and Obama are treating the republicans precisely the same way that the republicans treated democrats when they were dominant. They are using intimidation and sheer force of numbers. All politicians lie and Obama is a politician and so he lied to the nation in order to get elected. I don't mind the lies, because Hillary and McCain lied as well. What I don't like is that Obama is a clueless rookie.

The democrats? Now that THEY have dominance they are going to act the same way that republicans acted when they were dominant. Non-partisanship is a myth.

Thanks for revealing yourself

...as a Republican voter. I wasn't sure, but this clears it up nicely.

NO ONE lies more than the Clintons did, although McCain made a valiant stab at it. Obama comes in last in that contest, to anyone with a brain or a shred of honesty.

Bipartisanship?

it seems that's only possible if the president moves farther away from what the people want him to do. While you RepubliKLAN gits are squeaking, you conviently discard the fact that there's no support for you policies.

Moron, I voted for Jimmy Carter,

Mondale, Clinton, Dukakis, G.W. Bush [once] John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and then John McCain. So, you think I am a republican. I KNOW that you are a moron.
Clintons lied, more of Reagan's crew were convicted

Is America a great country or what?

What other country can boast how someone with an embarrasingly poor knowledge base, and even poorer writing and thinking skills, still pays six figures in taxes!

Are you a professional athlete? (If so, I hope you are Curt Shilling.)

A Berniie Madoff investor?

An entertainer? Wait! That's it!

What clown/entertainerr:

* supported and defended Bush and the GOP Congress for eight years, and then claimed that the electorate's repudiation of same was the result of Bush and the GOP departure from conservatism?

* has the limitless wind to decry liberals as defaming "conservatives" as hateful and intolerant?

* can stupifingly assert that Obama seeks to "provide tax relief for those who pay no taxes"?

* has defined bipartisanship as the Dems bending the GOP over to grab their ankles?

* claimed that Obama's true goal is the creation of a Democratic super-majority?

Who can this high earning, but ill-informed entertainer be? This person who can both chronically whine and revel in his victimhood? Can reconcile non-sequiturs and nonsense as proof of brilliance?

Ladies and gentleman....lets welcome RUSH LIMBAUGH to the Fray!
