Kausfiles has always been Dodge City. It has always been a take no prisoners kind of board. In past years, strangers who wandered in off the street often went home either crying or in a straight jacket. If the remained, they joined the looney bin.

I never liked most of the people, and I told them so. I liked most of Liberal women, all the Conservative women (who were few) most of the Conservative men (also few) and none of the Liberal men. But that is not the point of this post.

The place has always been a family of sorts, albeit a dysfunctional one, at best. There was always a lot of yelling and cursing and I luv yews, I'm sorry...we're friends. F**K YEW, YEW BITCH.

Things have changed in Kausfiles. Over the years the mood has changed. The venom has gotten more and more venomous. The anger more and more angry and the level of violence, more and more violence.

I blame SandyCat (Southern Gal & CatNapping) for this downfall. And I say this with some reservation because I care very much for both these women. But over time they have insisted on elevating the level of angry dialogue to the point that civil discourse no longer seems possible. I tried many times to calm them down but they just would not listen to a cooler voice.

Now they have drawn in a gang of idiots from somewhere out in the ether to harrass the board, intimidate, take up space, spam and push the pages and generally create mayhem. Sensible dialogue is no longer possible at KFS because of the outsiders who are now spreading their garbage all over the forum. And to speak out against them is to only draw more of the same.

I don''t know who these posters are, don't care. Some say Lillith...ah, the mythical Lillith, this bitch can apparently shit in a swinging bucket, others say Laurie Ann Megan. Who knows?

In any case, these f***ing idiots have ruined KFS, and you can bet your ass the Editor is not going to intervene (this is Devil's Island as far as Slate is concerned) so here is my suggestion:

Ignore them. Ignore them completely, not one response ever to Head Wound Hiawatha or Cat (space) Napping or any other poser, known to be a poser. no insults, rebuttles, nothing. Do not acknowledge the goofy bitches in any way.

Take back the board.

Respond to posts that are thoughtful or move the discussion forward and ignore those that are intended to start fires or throw gasoline onto existing flames.
