Abortion is legal now. The millions of children in foster care were wanted by their mothers. The legality of abortion doesn't change that fact. These children would have been born and left anyway.

How many children should I adopt before you'll allow me to speak on the issue? Is two enough? Or do you really want one person to adopt millions of kids?

I would like to see so called "pro-lifers"care as much about people who are born as they do the unborn.

Most are the same people who were the cheerleaders for the war in Iraq.

Most are the same people who think torture is a good thing.

Most are the same people who hate those "welfare queens" and their "precious"babies.

I know too many of these people and they dont give a rats ass about "life",but use this one issue as a way too feel some level of "moral" superiority.

And if he'd had an older brother, he likely would never have become president either.

That really is a stupid argument, I agree. If Obama's mother had not wanted him to the point of wanting an abortion, it seems unlikely she would have nurtured him to the point in which he had the skills and education needed to become president. Just because someone is born does not mean they have equal likelihood of being president. A kid has to be wanted and cared for in order to become successful, and it seems that forcing women to have kids they don't want is the surest way to prevent that from happening.

The original language of your first quote speaks of criminal killing or murder.

The second quote you have posted is about personal insults and court proceedings, not physical violence. Read the entire chapter.

As for your last quote? So what? People who live by the sword often die by it. Just a fact. Don't you think it's more telling that close followers of Jesus were armed?
