I agree, his voice is soothing
by Lindy98

After eight long years of "terrorism this" and "terrorism that", it's good to hear someone who has something different to say and an actual plan of what to do next. I'm sorry, but most of my friends and neighbors were not worried about the evil terrorist lurking around the corner. They were worried about gas prices, losing their job, the cost of their health insurance, trying to save for their kids, etc. W didn't have a plan or even give a damn about the economy. McCain had no plan but to tax my health care and kiss Joe the Plumber's nasty a$$. Palin only talked about "maveriks" and "real Americans". Yes I voted for something completely different and I know I made the right decision. I don't know how others on this post think we're being "hoodwinked". What do they think Obama is going to do that is so bad?

Agreed. It's too soon to tell if Obama will be good for this country, but, like you, I found no substance in his opponents' speeches. No matter what the outcome, I am sure that the alternative candidate would have been worse for us.
