Doesn't this say it all about Macheads?

Seriously, who cares about how a product is revealed at a press conference? What possible difference does "the reveal" actually have to using the product? Who gives a shit?

Always the same with Apple and its supporters-- all sizzle, No steak.

It sure does. Macheads are an annoying technological know nothing group. I'm a network admin and when people ask when we're getting macs, they're pretty surprised with the answer. "When hell freezes over."

And yet macs have this amazing mind-share, for some reason. People regard getting a mac as an 'upgrade' to a PC. It isn't. But everyone I know thinks it is.

A Mac is like a Ralph Lauren bag. I see how women love them. Other, less expensive, bags might be perfectly fine for carrying your crap, but the ladies love the Ralph Lauren brands.

Jobs is like the Ralph Lauren of computers. You can get your computing done on less expensive computers running Vista, but some people just love showing off their items from the Steve Jobs collection. That's why he is so much more important to Apple than other tech CEO's are to their companies.

I usually find lovers of Ralph Lauren and other designers to be vacuous and only interesting in their desperate attempts to be interesting. Most Mac people are the same. Not all, but most of the ones I have met. Of course, this is only my opinion.
