Lead Paint
by Boston_1140
The article is innacurately focused on why we should avoid lead paint. But look at the benefits! flexibility, high color, long lasting! What we should do is move the evolution process along by incorporating more lead paint into the world, thereby killing off those who cannot resist the paint until we have a race of people who are immune to lead. Why stop something that has worked for millions of years? And if you don't believe in evolution, wouldn't God want you to help others aka the next generation of humans.

Oh yes, because killing off thousands of people is such a wonderful idea.
For those who can't tell, I'm being extremely sarcastic.

ghoward by the same logic we should legalize all drugs and give away free heroin to achieve a drug-free society by killing off addictive personalities.

Legalizing home use atomic weapons would create a radiation resistant society.

Legalizing guns would kill off violent, murderous, suicidal types...creating a peaceful society oh...we already have unrestricted gun sales? Hm..is it working?

I agree with all of you, however I don't think atomic weapons would be necessary, simply the removal of those lead sheets during X-Rays.

and legalizing drugs wouldnt make a drug free enviroment, that's just silly. A better way to achieve a drug free society is by introducing drugs at a young age (second trimester?) in order to boost immunity.

Boston, I'm starting to think you are a loon. But anyway, evolution takes millions of years to eliminate a trait from the gene pool. We more impatient types are hoping for a quick fix solution..maybe 10 or 20 years?

I'm starting to think that this guy actually ate paint chips as a child...

If it is important then, to hide from lead, then we must avoid the following activities: furniture refinishing, art restoration, boat building, automotive repair, glass blowing, ceramics, home renovation, jewellry, model making, print making, shooting at indoor firing ranges, and welding, all of which are sources of lead. Also, if we are avoiding possible dangers of toys for children, then we should dispose of all electronic toys, as they may cause electric shock and burns. We should also eliminate all toys with small parts for obvious reasons. Furthermore, we should eliminate video games and television in order to avoid obesity in children. Furthermore, no one should be working in an office, as A study by the University of Arizona in 2002 found the typical worker's desk has hundreds of times more bacteria per square inch than an office toilet seat. So basically, we should stay indoors and hide from any possible danger lurking around the corner.

Boston the dangers from lead are to children under age 6 and especially those under age 3.
