Hitchens is absolutely correct. Rick Warren is wrong for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that he is a con artist and a charlatan. Furthermore, he advocates political assassination, which is illegal and antithetical to Christianity. What bothers me most about this strange man is that Barack Obama chose him for the inaugural convocation. We know what's wrong with Warren. What's wrong with Obama?

I think it has something to do with Obama not wanting to have only New Yorkers, people from inside politics and money men front and center at this inauguration. He has a goal to unify the country and that means including people who live in the South, the Midwest and Western States that are not California. Who lives in Queens and listens to Rick Warren? Who flips houses in Malibu and listens to Rick Warren? Who litigates product claims in D.C. and listens to Rick Warren?

Yeah, there's all that flat land between the skyscrapers of New York and the skyscrapers of L.A.
