A systematic boycott of all prepared foods will force manufacturers to stop using Chinese made goods. It may take years though.
Boycott means DO NOT BUY. Even that Nestle milk chocolate bar.
Waiting for the FDA to do anything to protect the American consumer is like waiting for pigs to fly, it just won't happen.
They support drugs sponsored by pharma companies that kill people, so sponsoring goods which produce sickness turns out to be a fabulous windfall for the medical industry, who prescribes these drugs to the ill people. Saw a great film about this, rent it, THE CONSTANT GARDNER.

The FDA, WHO (World Health Organization) as well as the AMA, will sponsor Codex Alimentarius which begins December 31, 2009.

1. Codex Alimentarius Disaster:
Assuming Codex Alimentarius goes into effect, which prevents the sales of all your supplements (where the dose is so low, it won't work) on December 31, 2009. It's estimated 3 billion people will die. One billion from malnourisment, the two billion is from preventable disease (sounds like U.S. is worse hit). United Nations makes Hitler looked like picnic (more like Rothschild and Rockefeller - actually Hitler was a Rothschild). The U.S. have tested this effects onto the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia. One of his policies required for U.S. support was for Pol Pot to declare illegal use of any medicine (restrict importation). Just read the history just how many died from this sort of "control". It wasn't China that supported Pol Pot, by the way. I guess the U.N. have a fairly good idea of the numbers.
So assuming this little United Nation's Armageddon rule is in effect, more emergency is expected, and hence no supplement or supplies. To get around the problem, the best supplements (if United Nations doesn't directly control it) is partially cooked liver. It has nearly all the vitamins and minerals there is.
Because Codex Alimentarius requires all animals take Monsanto bovine growth hormone and antibiotics, the food should be washed and deactivated in weak hydrogen peroxide solution. It won't kill the bovine growth hormone, but some heat will on limited basis.
Hence pre-preparations for Alimentarius Codex Disaster are as follows:
Save and trade seeds with your neighbors. Become a seed collector. Prepare organically grown vegetables. Diet consists of 90% vegetables and grains or more, 10% meats (half of that maybe partially cooked liver).
What Codex doesn't cover: drugs from aquarium shops. Become a Vet who also has access. Medical schools are way too much indoctrinated and controlled. Open your own chemical supplier company as so you can buy in bulk and distribute them. Other more drastic steps are visiting China and India and buy bulk chemicals there. Obviously, someone loyal to the cause of United Nations are probably reading this and have counter plans to my plan anyway. This is why secret organizations work against humanity is so easy. In Physics, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and to oppose that you need another similar secret organization that opposes the elite feudal secret society (the so called 13 families).
There are of course less elaborate short-term steps (buys time for 1-2 years such as stocking up on supplements, such as buying from http:purebulk.com. They do have some supplements not all. My favorite is magnesium citrate, obviously, some are not so obvious, such as EDTA. But more common ones are vitamin Bs and amino acids. Some in fact they don't even post, such as DHEA, for example and needs to be contacted directly. However, the important onces in the emergency aid kit that they do have is Magnesium citrate and potassium citrate.
What supplement do you stock up for specifically addressed to Alimentarius Codex? These are the minimum additions:
Vitamin B complex. Imagine a huge rise in bulimia, anorexia, insanity (pellagra), schizophrenia, cachexia. This is the effects of B complex deficiency.
Vitamin C. (500 mg sodium ascorbate) Imagine scurvy.
Vitamin D2 (20,000 i.u. minimum) Imagine multiple sclrerosis, autoimmunity, osteoporosis.
Chlorophyll (for anemia, blood loss)
An addition of Police state and mandatory vaccinations and then I need to take a huge dose of BHT, EDTA and borax. Which kills mostly mycoplasma, aflaxtoxins, and rid of mercury poisoining for example.

One mainstream information promoted by Hollywood is we can't kill the virus. That's promoted by the movie "War of the Worlds", "Aeon flux", "Ultraviolet", "I am Legend", "Mission Impossible II" (Chimera), "Outbreak" (1995), "28 Days Later" (2002), 28 Weeks Later, Resient Evil (2002), "12 Monkeys", "Tomb Raider-Cradle of Life", "Blade Trinity", "Andromeda Strain", "X-Files the Movie" "Virus" 1999 played by Jamie Lee Curtis The Omega Man, "Winds of Terror" are some of the examples that is called "social conditioning" (he's also the author of the infamous 911 Commission Report). Obviously many people think it's not possible to protect yourself. Accept the defeat.
However, those who knew something can be done through the use of supplements or Royal Rife also get sidetracked by trying to figure out how that can be done. So there are many layers of onion. The problems about supplements is manufacturers add additives so it becomes less acessible to the body, by preventing their bioavailability. This is a very common issue. This is done by adding calcium phosphate, gelatin or waxes, such as magnesium stearate. That's why I used powdered form. It's pure and no additives to prevent their bioavailability.
Then there is an electronic devices, such as Royal Rife device that kills all the bacteria and other pathogens there is. Unfortunately, most Royal Rife product has been misdirected. Instead of using radio waves it used exclusively audio, which doesn't work. If it used electrical condition that isn't accessible on body cavities and other spots where electricity can't pass through. And then there's Bedini who can kill them, but unfortunately he's still "working on it" using interferometry techniques. However, if you are observant on his killing methods in the video the method is simple: a combination of frequency resulted in EMP (electromagnetic pulse). Therefore, without the complexity, the Bob Beck's Electromagnetic Pulse idea will kill them without the need of complicated interferometry. People think EMP (there's an example of this in 12 Oceans movie) that kills computer and electronics to rob the Las Vegas casino. What it doesn't mention is also kills all kinds pathogens. It works in a very simple principle: when electromagnetic pulse goes through your body, it creates electrical flow throughout the body, zapping the bugs. The EMP device can be created with a good electrical wiring and an electronic flash. So this is one electrical device that I might have in my list of emergency kits, besides a solar recharger so the device can be reusable.
2. GMO Disaster.
Imagine this scenario and it's already happening. A pollen from Monsanto is created with a terminator genes, being spread by the winds. Suddenly all the major agricultural crops (all Monsanto has the GMO) are dying leaving only GMO producing insecticides and herbicides for us to consume, at the cellular level. What happens to us?
To get around GMO disaster, saving seeds is one, growing your plants is another. People will really have to eat more organically grown vegetables, and make up 90% of their diets with 10% or less for meats, and liver! Actually one major reason why rich countries have diabetes, osteoporosis, autoimmunity (besides chlorination, fluoridation and aspartame) is the diets. Most of the diets are fats, meats, and sugar. That's basically it. A switchover to vegetable and grain is required if GMO holocaust doesn't hit is first. A first aid kit in this area is not possible, but common plant seeds are.
With the Doomsday Vault (maybe to protect against GMO for only the elites, not us) that's about to be finished or finished, and GMO plants now is everywhere, or spread through chemtrails and protected by laws so that some preparations is needed to save the seeds from plantation and record their dates collected (seasonally), before GMO changes your plant without you knowing it to be worthless with insecticide and herbicide producing plants that's programmed sometimes to the level of DNA with terminator genes. That's a good one to cause worldwide crop extinction. We all die if that happens. As to herbs, if all sales is prevented then I guess saving seeds and growing in our own backyards might be one of the options that can buy some time, before that one is declared illegal.
The dates recorded helps you go back in time before you knew the plants suddenly became GMO. By the time GMO got into healthy plants, you won't know until it's too late. So going back in time, the seeds can be regrown, more like hydroponically protected in greenhouse if possible.
