I looked in vain through Bush's final pardon list for the names of Ramos and Campion.

Ramos and Campion, as you may remember, were the border guards convicted of shooting a drug smuggler in the behind as he fled back across the border. However, a pardon was given to a man convicted of smuggling illegal aliens across that very same border. This really sucks. And Bush does, too.

ALWAYS highlight the fact that the dude was shot in the ass. For of course, to suggest that he was "shot in the back", gives this wonderous story a whole different cast. Isn't that funny?...... that "ass" or "back", in this context, are the difference between "shillable" and anathema?

I don't like Bush, but shooting people in the back does not deserve a pardon. Those jerks belong in jail.

Alas, these fellas didn't acquit (no pun) themselves well at trial. There was a heckuva lot of diversion, coverup, falsification of documents, and downright perjury goin' on. this should serve as a lesson to future back-shooters. If you want to paint yourself as some sorta modern day hero, it's best to do so on the up 'n up.

Shooting someone in the back can be fatal, since it hides a lot of vital organs. Shooting them in the backside is different.

I suppose it depends on the ass and the organ. I've seen a few that could hide a Wurlitzer!
