I was studying with some friends in a room at the university some years ago.

Someone came in with a Dewer flask and heavy gloves, and opened the valve to fill the flask with some stuff. As the flask was filled, a cloud of white smoky looking substance flowed over the top of the Dewer flask. A dork nearby asked, "Is that steam?"

Stunned by his Democrat-like stupidity, I posed the question, "Are you an art major?"

He stared at me for a second, muttered something under his breath, and left the room.

Then, someone else who knew him laughed and said, "Yes he is!"

I've never forgotten how stupid that fellow was, and so many others are. The majority of them end up as Democrats.

I knew what the "stuff" was before the first atom of it came out. If it needs to be explained to you, you're a Democrat.

Your first link to Google reads "NOT FOUND."

Your second link looks like dreck but only considerably more artistic than dreck coveted so dearly by artistes such as yourself. I am thinking of "Self Portrait" by the heroin addict who died of an overdose. His name escapes me just now.

Your third link reads "FORBIDDEN." So now we see that you cannot even provide links to the "art" you know so well.

As for me, I have been to the Louvre many times, not to mention the British Museum, the Sistine Chapel Museum, the Prado, the Uffizi Gallery, and many, many others.

If you had anything substantial to say, I would respond with links to real art, such as "Mercy: David Spareth the Life of Saul" by Dadd, as well as "Piss Christ" by a leftist like you.

One is true art. The other is pissy intolerance and ignorance - a language spoken by liberals like you.

from several different compounds... The first one that comes to mind is dry ice and water...it creates a dense vapor that is heavier than air....that's my guess. I have also seen the same effect with combinations of far end PH compounds like a high grade Acid and a high grade Base though I suspect that vapor would probably kill the person who inhaled it.

Truth is, if I remember correctly, you have a degree in chemistry...do you not? I would welcome some of those old style posts highlighting the intellgence of creation...nobody does that better.

I feel the same of Michele Basquiat as I do about Jackson Pollack..not a fan of their art, p/se....but as quintessential,tortured artists in their individual personas,they do very well in meeting that mark.

But, I agree with your point,the art student may not have immediately know the smoke was dry ice or liquid nitrogen but he may well have known more about art than the guy with the Dewer's Flask.
