....let's say, for the sake of placating these people with nothing better to do, that Obama was born in Kenya. His mother is still an American citizen, so he would have dual citizenship, and thus, still eligible to be President. Case closed.

you are wrong. As a child born to American military parents, stationed in Germany in 1962, and my brother in 1960, upon returning to the USA, my parents had to declare to naturalize us even though we were born on military bases.

There is no automatic dual citizenship in the USA, some countries will allow citizenship in two countries, but not the USA. Once becoming a USA citizen, you must renounce your foreign country and surrender passports.

My passport states place of birth as Germany, my citizenship as USA.
