What is the problem with the Certificate of Live Birth that was examined by factcheck.org? Why would anyone suspect that it is a forgery, since several newspapers, as well as factcheck....and the State Of Hawaii, have said that it is genuine?

Obama hasn't filed any challenges. He's had to respond to numerous challenges to his citizenship. He went to the State Department of Health and posted a copy of his official COLB as issued by the Hawaii DOH on the web. Something no other candidate has ever had to do. The fact that he hasn't wasted too much time addressing a bunch of nutbars and tinfoil hatters who wouldn't be convinced even if Doc Brown gave them a ride in his DeLorean so that they could witness Obama's birth first hand isn't proof.

Obama also has a US Passport that he used to visit Europe and the Middle East this summer (remember those millions of people who came to see him speak? Yeah, me too!) and in order to apply for a passport you have to prove your citizenship.

Barry is the cause for this uproar. Aside from refusing to provide his valid, authentic birth certificate detailing the name of the hospital where he was born and the name of the doctor who delivered him, the passport he used to travel back and forth from Pakistan when he was in college is also being called into question. And to further complicate matters, Barry's refusal to release his medical records and college transcripts are also adding fuel to the fire. His medical records will indicate where he was born, and his college transcriptss will indicate if he received foreign tuition aid. If Barry wants this to go away, all he has to do is produce the documents. Until he does, the little punk cannot whine about being picked on. If it turns out that he is not a natural born citizen after the is inaugurated, he could quite possibly be jailed, and rightfully so. He needs to clear this up as soon as possible.

I don't know how many times it needs to be said, but Obama has released his valid birth certificate and the government of Hawaii has confirmed that he was there. There is no controversy left. Only the ravings of the lunatic fringe.

As for his college transcripts: He's not required to release his college transcripts. There is no law that says he has to. Anything about him receiving foreign financial aide is pure speculation on your part as you have no proof of that whatsoever.

In case you weren't aware, the State of Hawaii issued thoudands of birth certificates to foreigners who weren't born there so that they could gain US citizenship, and the fake certificate that Obama gave to the Daily Kos to put up online is a copy of one of those. It is not a certified birth certificate. This is going to hound Barry until he produces his authentic birth certificate. And I suppose you knew that Barry is also refusing to name the nationality of the passport he was using to travel back and forth to Pakistan with. There are already steps in place to legally challenge every single piece of legislation and treaty that Barry enacts until his natural born citizenship is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. An authentic birth certificate costs around 12 bucks. Certainly Barry can afford this.

For starters, the man you are referring to is President Elect Barack Obama. Please, for the basic respect accorded anyone, do not refer to him by a family nickname and assume a familiar relationship with someone whom you not only do not know, but apparently cannot stand. I'd be furious if someone I had never met and who obviously regarded me with this much contempt used the nickname my family has for me in public. Bad move.

Second: The birth certificate is real. Get over it. A copy is just as legit as a vault copy, especially when these records have been verified by the State of Hawai'i. If any of these people are found lying, they're in for some serious time. You really think they'd risk something like that over an election result?

Third: He didn't refuse to name the nationality of the passport that he used to travel back and forth to Pakistan with as a twenty-year-old. Get your story straight.

Fourth: Do you realize that you're demanding the invasion of someone's privacy, which is protected by Supreme Court decisions? My parents can't even access my college transcripts without my express, written permission, nor can my husband. The only ones who have ever seen those are the grad schools I applied to. My husband hasn't even seen a copy of my birth certificate (It's just never come up). Yet you're asking for Barack Obama to release all of this information because you say so?

Last I checked, the name of the doctor who delivered me isn't on the copy of my birth certificate either. Do I know his name? Yes, only because my mother told me later. The specific hospital also isn't listed, just the city. However, the presence (or lack thereof) of those names on a certificate doesn't decide its validity.

By the way, I used that certificate to get both my passport and a copy of my Social Security Card. It was never challenged.

And another wrinkle for poor Barry is that at the time of his birth, his father was a Kenyan national thus meaning he was subject to the laws of the United Kingdom who held Kenya as a colony until they gained their independence in 1963. At the time of his birth, this made Barry a British citizen and he admitted that he held dual citizenship. The problem is, dual citizenship does not constitute natural born citizenship status as per the Constitution.
