Nah, Bush has extended executive privelge to Meirs and Ashcroft as well as other former White House staff.....I think he is looking into trying to be far away from the disaster that is about to befall the republican party in 08.

The Bush family hold a bunch of firsts. Bush's dad pardoned people in advance who hadn't even been charged with a crime. That was to keep them from being forced to testify against him or Reagan in Iran/Contra.

I wouldn't be too surprised if there isn't a pardon in advance waiting for Rove.
