Call it Spiritual Warfare.
by muzza

He's not so crazy.

Fidel knows your mountain Christian brigades are planning a Protestant invasion just 90 miles northward, at the forward base in Miami (although headquarters is in Virginia Beach). You got your Vatican-based Christian operators at the tip of the Yucatan with their Bay of Pigs satellite imagery and those trusty old from Columbus.

Fidel may look senile for the cameras, but he's "Country First" cagey, in the John McCain sense.

Cuba no longer has has the ability to get kinetic on anybody's ass, even in her own defense. So if Cuba strategically opens up and goes passive-agressive-Christian after Fidel's departure, she will do so Russian-style, with Vlad Putin as the missionary-in-chief.

The rationale is wholly calculated, a bit like Werner von Braun deciding to surrender to the Allied forces. This is warfare by other means. Spiritual warfare.

Fidel's looking after his country and formulating a seamless cover story. Who can plausibly deny access to religious freedom for poor, starving, godless Cuba?

Infrared imaging confirms there's an ICBM under that orthodox priest's hat.

This has been a BlackwaterIntelHitchensEnterprises update.

Confidential sources reveal that Pres. elect Obama has decided to preempt a Russian invasion by dispatching emissary Rev. Jeremiah Wright (yes that JW) to Havana with a firm offer to erect a superior version of the Trinity United church whose juju is far more potent than anything the tophats from Moscow can offer. Take that Putin!

Obama's meeting today with John McCain is a convenient excuse to enlist John's aid in drafting Sarah Palin to mount a Christian evangelical invasion of Cuba . . . if the Cubans are going to start worshipping god again, it bloody well better be an American god instead of a heathen Russian god! The Cubans need decent American pastors wearing golf shirts and tailored pants, not a bunch of russkies dressed up like Alexander Solzhenitsyn in drag! Sarah will set 'em straight.

American Jesus can kick Russian Jesus' ass. Italian Jesus ain't even a player.

"Italian Jesus ain't even a player". But he is. The ladies love him.

Why are the West obsess with Cuba & Castro? It is a tiny island. What more do they want? It is no secret that Castro is greatly admired in the Caribbean & South America because despite embargo and endless harassment He is still Standing. Cuba is a symbol for what many of us crave: a king of nationalism that tells the others to mind your own f##king business and let us develop what ever kind of society we choose. Viva La Cuba!!!!!

Re: Further update

a question for vangogh: if Cuba is so wonderful, why are there so many Cubans in south Florida? just wondering . . .

Re: Further update

There are more Cubans in Cuba than in Miami.

I'll try this again vangogh: why are there so many Cubans in south Florida? The fact that there are still more Cubans in Cuba is interesting, but doesn't answer the question.
