What incredible, ill founded arrogance.
"Never saw homosexuals being hosed or set upon by dogs or hung or burned as a matter of accepted goverment policies.
In the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's across the country bars, and lounges that catered to gay men and women were regularly raided by police, sheriff and military police departments. I recall just out of college going to a bar in Texas that had a buzzer. If it rang over the music, immediately on the dance floor, lesbians and gays would switch partners - this became shockingly frequent in the late 1960's and 1970's as I was told by older friends as this bar was closest to the Army and Air Force bases. No sex going on, no drugs, just mingling and dancing. What do you think the Stonewall Riots were about?
Society rewards heterosexual marriage for the meer fact that such unions benefit society or at least have the potential of benefiting society in the vast majority of such unions.
So where is your proof or life experience that gay marriages would fail to benefit society on any level. That is an opinion based on, gee ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but your bigotry
The emotional pining of "we love each other" or "we've been together" for x amount of time is no excuse or reason for society to permit such self serving gay unions that can never give anything back. Such unions are what they are..no more..no less but homosexuals wish us to believe they are far more..
SELF-SERVING? And please enlighten us on how your nuptials have benifited the greater good in society and why the love between you and your woman can only be viewed as a selfless contribution to humanity...........and should be embraced by Governments as having more value than two men or two women who have lived and loved together for years and only seek the same rights available as taxpaying Americans
..attempting to force the acceptance of their worship at the alter of oral and anal homoeroticism as the norm.
Okay this is the single most telling and truthful comment you have made. You are uncomfortable with the idea of a man's penis inside another male's ass (except for prisons where there you no doubt UNDERSTAND the strange pecking order to control and dominate, but what goes on in prison stays in prison.....just like VEGAS huh?) male to male head, frottage, nipple play, slow wet kisses that last for days or any other sex practice that sends shivers down your spine. Well look I don't know what goes on in the bedrooms of heterosexuals but the idea of it makes me ill too. But clearly you went straight to the heart of male gay sex. Ahhh. There lies the spectacular hypocrisy. You hear gay marriage and immediately think male/male sex and immediately your brain says FOUL, SELF-SERVING, BOGUS LOVE, but plug in your favorite BLACK GANG BANG BITCHES PART 6 and two women start muching, diving, spelunking, sixty-nining, probing, and squirting and you are flailing away on your....ahem, black snake. That is truly the problem with many who aspire to marginalize the rights of other individuals who merely seek equal representation under the law. They may claim, gay marriage destroys the soul and fabric of marriage (and just how no one has ever rationally explained save for the bogus procreation bull-shit) but really its the idea of closed minded males and females of all races can't quite abide the idea of the actual sex act specifically between men. But for some reason lesbian sex virtually gets a pass and in fact gleefully eroticized and embraced. Maybe less moving parts........
Well, take a walk back in history, Boston, say the 1960's and witness those inter-racial couples who were castigated and spat on for their mutual love that was as honest and heartfelt as their race-equal counterparts. And I believe it was a Supreme Court ruling that nullified miscegenation laws. Now gays are only asking for the same rights and humanity and to deny those priviliges based on biologically stamped sexual identity especially being a person of color (with a knowing history of marginalization as recent as 30 years ago), I am sorry, is hyprocritical.
