Blacks Rejecting Gay Rights

How weary I grow of hearing homosexuals attempting to equate their so called plight to that of blacks. As a black I have a creeping suspicion there are more blacks than gays pulled over by cops. Never heard of driving while gay.Never heard of store security monitoring homosexuals while shopping. Nope, never heard of shopping while gay. Something tells me homosexuals were never red lined by banks or steered by realty companies. Never sw homosexuals being hosed or set upon by dogs or hung or burned as a matter of accepted goverment policies. Never saw homosexuals used as guinea pigs s in syphillis experiments. In fact something tells me homosexuals as a group are more politically connected, backed by more money, own more businesses, live in better housing in choice neighborhoods, have better jobs, attend better schools and are born with more trust funds than the average straight black. Homosexuals want us to beleve teh great lie that is the homosexual movement. A place where that which is sexual has become political. Society rewards heterosexual marriage for the meer fact that such unions benefit society or at least have the potential of benefiting society in the vast majority of such unions. The emotional pining of "we love each other" or "we've been together" for x amount of time is no excuse or reason for society to permit such self serving gay unions that can never give anything back. Such unions are what they are..no more..no less but homosexuals wish us to believe they are far more..attempting to force the acceptance of their worship at the alter of oral and anal homoeroticism as the norm. It is what it is..no more..no less..and I'm very pleased California voters and particularly black voters to see through the great lie and sly attempt to ride the Obama fervor to victory.

So your perception of racism in police is a reason to deny someone else their own civil rights? How noble.

What incredible, ill founded arrogance.

"Never saw homosexuals being hosed or set upon by dogs or hung or burned as a matter of accepted goverment policies.

In the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's across the country bars, and lounges that catered to gay men and women were regularly raided by police, sheriff and military police departments. I recall just out of college going to a bar in Texas that had a buzzer. If it rang over the music, immediately on the dance floor, lesbians and gays would switch partners - this became shockingly frequent in the late 1960's and 1970's as I was told by older friends as this bar was closest to the Army and Air Force bases. No sex going on, no drugs, just mingling and dancing. What do you think the Stonewall Riots were about?

Society rewards heterosexual marriage for the meer fact that such unions benefit society or at least have the potential of benefiting society in the vast majority of such unions.

So where is your proof or life experience that gay marriages would fail to benefit society on any level. That is an opinion based on, gee ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but your bigotry

The emotional pining of "we love each other" or "we've been together" for x amount of time is no excuse or reason for society to permit such self serving gay unions that can never give anything back. Such unions are what they are..no more..no less but homosexuals wish us to believe they are far more..

SELF-SERVING? And please enlighten us on how your nuptials have benifited the greater good in society and why the love between you and your woman can only be viewed as a selfless contribution to humanity...........and should be embraced by Governments as having more value than two men or two women who have lived and loved together for years and only seek the same rights available as taxpaying Americans

..attempting to force the acceptance of their worship at the alter of oral and anal homoeroticism as the norm.

Okay this is the single most telling and truthful comment you have made. You are uncomfortable with the idea of a man's penis inside another male's ass (except for prisons where there you no doubt UNDERSTAND the strange pecking order to control and dominate, but what goes on in prison stays in prison.....just like VEGAS huh?) male to male head, frottage, nipple play, slow wet kisses that last for days or any other sex practice that sends shivers down your spine. Well look I don't know what goes on in the bedrooms of heterosexuals but the idea of it makes me ill too. But clearly you went straight to the heart of male gay sex. Ahhh. There lies the spectacular hypocrisy. You hear gay marriage and immediately think male/male sex and immediately your brain says FOUL, SELF-SERVING, BOGUS LOVE, but plug in your favorite BLACK GANG BANG BITCHES PART 6 and two women start muching, diving, spelunking, sixty-nining, probing, and squirting and you are flailing away on your....ahem, black snake. That is truly the problem with many who aspire to marginalize the rights of other individuals who merely seek equal representation under the law. They may claim, gay marriage destroys the soul and fabric of marriage (and just how no one has ever rationally explained save for the bogus procreation bull-shit) but really its the idea of closed minded males and females of all races can't quite abide the idea of the actual sex act specifically between men. But for some reason lesbian sex virtually gets a pass and in fact gleefully eroticized and embraced. Maybe less moving parts........

Well, take a walk back in history, Boston, say the 1960's and witness those inter-racial couples who were castigated and spat on for their mutual love that was as honest and heartfelt as their race-equal counterparts. And I believe it was a Supreme Court ruling that nullified miscegenation laws. Now gays are only asking for the same rights and humanity and to deny those priviliges based on biologically stamped sexual identity especially being a person of color (with a knowing history of marginalization as recent as 30 years ago), I am sorry, is hyprocritical.

actually homosexuals have been murdered and persecuted throughout history. The only reason they weren't subjugated to slavery and segregation is because they are much more difficult to distinguish based on sight. Homosexuals were one of the first groups to be targeted in Hitler's Germany. If that is too far removed for you in February an 8th grader was shot and killed for being gay by a fourteen-year old. There is absolutely nothing an 8th grader could do which would make him deserve death, especially not admitting who he was. Is the plight of blacks the same as gays? absolutely not, neither is the plight of Jews, or immigrants, or the poor. Their stories are different, the problems they face are incredibly different, and they each deserve attention. The great thing about this country is that we believe no group is above another group and no group is below any other. We have been working for more than 200 years to achieve this balance. We are still a hell of a long way away, but saying that because your group hasn't gotten far enough yet so we should just ignore everyone else and focus on you until you're satisfied is ridiculous. That's not how progress gets made. As for the idea that this is self-serving. Since when is marriage not self-serving. Thousands of people get married every day, and I don't care a single bit about them. I don't know them, their marriage means nothing to me and my family, and no matter what they do it will likely never impact my life. But to them their marriage means everything, their marriage will change their entire lives, even if they end up getting divorced, they will never be the same as if they haven't made that decision. Contrary to your ideas this is about love and marriage. Couples, gay or straight are perfectly capable of having sex without being married, and most now do. We have already fought the battles so that gays are allowed to be intimate without fear of prosecution in many states. Finally, 18,000 couples have been married in California in the past months, and many more outside of California, has your marriage changed, do you feel like your bond with your spouse is now broken, do you no longer love them and feel your marriage is a sham? I doubt it, and if you do your problems have nothing to do with gay marriage. Humans will continue to search for the ones we love and want to share our lives with them, what others around us do will never change that.

The essential closeting of gays throughout history is important to note here. No one who is homosexual can't hide they're homosexual. And while violence has been brought against homosexuals it is in no way equal to the history of violence against blacks in this country. IT'S THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT.

I get and agree that they're both issues of equality but it's amazing to see the hostile behavior people take when they're accused of appropriating different struggles. Obviously this argument isn't working on those not completely embraced by the cause (California marriages were mostly issued to white, middle to upper class gays). Prop 8 is an issue of marriage equality, that's it. The Civil Rights Era wasn't just an issue of being able to get married. You can't historyshop the events to suit your needs.

Flixpix..You left the most important part out. The part about homosexuals being born with more trust funds than blacks. The part about homosexuals owning more businesses aproperty. The part about homosexuals being politically connected

I'm a gay man who doesn't have a trust fund, own a business or property. These are all stereotypes. Not all gay people are rich white people just like not all black people are narrow-minded.

And as to be being politically connected I refer you to the election results on Tuesday November 4, 2008.
