Anyone else think that Obama might be the last president? If so, why?

You know, oddly enough, while I don't share your feeling of the end of the presidency, I do kinda have the same feeling a lot of people have. That change might be something we never really saw coming.

Don't get me wrong, I still look forward to it, but it does seem to be somehow bigger than expected.

I think Obama could get elected as the next King of the World if he wanted too right now.

At one time there was fear they would take over the world and even destroy the US system of goverment (you know get those hippies to overthrow the US govt)! Really some morons had this fear and the FBI was always watching Lennon, but come on it is a total joke. Lennon made his 'we are as big as Jesus' and proved to the world, hey, that Lennon guy is just another man.

Liking someone is a lot different than giving them YOUR power! Yes, the world love Obama but in no way does that mean they are willing to give up their own agenda.

I was thinking that maybe the Titanic is already halfway to the bottom of the ocean and it doesn't matter who the new captain is. Bush screwed up and there aren't enough lifeboats to go around.

Obama is no dummy, he knows that he inherited a sinking ship and he knows that a bunch of rich bastards are stealing lifeboats. They tell you that the ship is going to be fine, don't worry about it, go back to sleep, but they're full of shit and you're already up to your knees in ice cold water.

No one is going to rescue you, and you won't even hear about the iceberg unless Obama has the decency to tell you what's really going on. Your chances are slim either way but at least you'll have the opportunity to make your peace with god if Barack Obama has the courage to tell you the hard truth that Bush tried to suppress.
