Actually it was only $30

Still annoying, but only $30.

No it was $100.

"In the months and years ahead, we're going to accomplish amazing things together. No president has ever had the support of such a powerful grassroots movement, and Barack and Joe will need you to continue fighting alongside them.

But before we take the next step, we need to get our house in order.

The Democratic National Committee poured all of its resources into building our successful 50-state field program. And they played a crucial role in helping Barack win in unlikely states like North Carolina and Indiana. We even picked up an electoral vote in Nebraska.

The DNC took on considerable debt to make this happen.

Will you make a donation of $100 or more now to help the DNC pay for these efforts? You'll get a 2008 Victory T-shirt. "

The email I got was identical except it asked for 30 bucks. They must have us categorized differently for whatever reason. I probably got the 30 dollar one because I gave 25 a couple times.

my email was $30 as well. they definitely have people set up in boxes according to how much they donated but you'd think they'd have different levels of 'prizes' too ala pbs telethons.

also reminded me of the car magnet, how each week i was asked to donate money for a magnet and as we got closer to the election the price got higher; 5, 10, then 15 dollars.

Well now I feel like Joe the plumber. :)

I've given both to the DNC and the Obama campaign (over the $200 listing limit) so I guess they figure I can afford it. As Biden. would say,"Give, it's patriotic".
