Why should Obama work without pay?

The president's salary is not going to make a significant difference in the national debt.

It might be popular but I believe that we don't pay public servants enough.

Look at how cheap it was to bribe Ted Stevens, Don Young and other corrupt politicians!

Successful companies don't operate this way, they pay top executives handsomely. Why would a talented person run for office when theprivate sector is so much more lucrative? This is why we have so many mediocrities in the government.

I think John Dickerson should take his own advice. Be a new kind of journalist. Work without pay and live off the royalties to your books!
