Er, what about . . . Palin?

Very thought-provoking series, though I find it very interesting that in all the pieces thus far about the future of the GOP there have only been a couple of passing references to the person most touted to represent that future – Sarah Palin.

I expect many conservatives are eagerly awaiting for her to claim that place, while many other conservatives wish she would disappear quietly. Even within conservative ranks, there's a huge love her/can't stand her divide. Sarah Palin looks to me like the human fault line of the GOP, and could on her own bring about an even greater “crack-up” in the GOP electoral coalition.

What say you, panel?
