Good to see you!

Read the FW Article..liked the good humor there! After such a long and often arduous difficult primary and election season it is so important to keep a good sense of humor about it all.

I remain ambivelent regarding how Obama will do, but it was a breathtaking and awesome sight to see the joy on people's faces in Grant Park, Chicago last night! No one could watch that and consider the moment historically and not feel moved.

Thanking you for your very kind ed picks on my two Hillary posts during the very long primary season; the hugely responded to 'Hillary and the Math' post and Hillary and the gender issue.. 'Gender Issue Lives On as Hillary Hopes Fades', from Trailhead Fray.. ..we had some wonderful civil discussions in those threads and it was a joy to see the amount of replies and uprates for both of them. No credit to me, as it was and is because Hillary Clinton herself is such a lightening rod of interest to posters that those two posts attracted a massive number of responses.

Slate provides such a great outlet for those of us who enjoy posting on political topics and issues. thanks so much for that.

Now that this election is finally over..here is hoping for the best and praying Obama will be good for The Nation and the world at large.

Slate did lean a bit towards Obama, but as compared to Kos, Huff Post, Salon, or a host of any other slightly left of center online magaizine, Slate is and remains one of the more fair and balnced online magazines, imho..as well as being the most enjoyable to post on as it is well formatted for posting,

Thx, for stopping in here to BOTF!

ooops!

Geesh you dig Deep Red moria!

But ya killed me with paranoic kindness with the Slate hat yasent for a wear in mao's restaurant in Singapore!

Been thrown out of betta countries than that one and lost my slate hat to UPS I scurried so fast with my new Bride (a Singapore sling)!

Hey who would have known that a white guy from USA could not be sponsored for a green card by his singaporean bride in her homeland!

you betcha I'd take a 2nd hand Rose-- refit fez top gun hat again!

For the record I've been jealous all these years since 1981 (when Bush one wacked me while at Univ of miami in a post BA pre med program) that I didn't qualify for an AA R.E appraiser Metro Job for civil servANT job due to my color(s) !

:)

Runner-up: Commoner, with his claim that the Fray editor is an affirmative-action hire and hence incompetent.

lol! funny, uncommoner. Missed you around here. Yeah..I like Moira..always have.

Slate did lean somewhat to Obama..I am aware..but no where near is it a really one way place like Kos, or Huff Post online blogs and mags..no comparision.

And it is the credit to the Slate Staff for making cerrtain that ALL Voices continue to be allowed to post their views, unlike say Daily Kos that really works hard to purge their web site from any dissenters other than their one biased line of thought.

That is a blessing in these worrisome times indeed.

Looks like Obama wants to bring back The Fairness Doctrine in mdeia..now that issue should bring up some very interesting arguments and discussions as well.

best to you.

Re: Formatting problem?
by Lono

When I go to Fraywatch, I can read the first paragraph easily. When you go to bullets, the type gets smaller. Bullet 1 & 2 are still legible, but then bullet 3 gets smaller still. And the rest is even smaller still (impossible to read).

The bullets get increasingly smaller until I get to the "Friday, Oct 24" headline.

Is it just me?

Well done! That stuff is

almost as irrelevant as fray editors. You certainly do stoop to conquer.
