Anne, this is a mistake.

There are real terrorists, and their aim is to kill us. To not vote for the most experienced and knowledgeable person on foreign policy is irresponsible. Don't let all this culture war crap blind you to following what you know and appear to understand that McCain is much more knowledgeable and experienced in foreign affairs than is Obama.

When a candidate's knowledge and experience leads him to support a war in the wrong place at the wrong time against the wrong enemy for the wrong reasons, perhaps his knowledge and experience are not so valuable after all. In addition, this nation cannot be strong without a working economy, and McCain has offered nothing except Republican bromides.

All the experience in the world doesn't make a difference if you're going to do the wrong things with that experience.

Expereince is not the same as qualifications. Experience is a proxy for qualified. If you have lots of experience, you might be qualified. You might also just be old.

You might be inexperienced and not be qualified. You might also have excellent judgment, intellectual curiosity and capacity, and a good temperament to be president.

You vote for the president you think will be best. Its always a crapshoot, but picking the more experienced one assumes falsely that that experience will always be put to good use.

George W. Bush was surrounded by an extremely experienced team of advisors. And they advised him horribly. You probably disagree, but...

Sure, why wait until the terrorists attack again? Why not send American soldiers out into the Muslim world to ENSURE they are killed. I mean it isn't as though we have people crossing our own borders illegally. We don't need the manpower here, those soldiers have no purpose for their lives but to die over there.
