I don't see how it was indecent of the interviewer to ask the questions she asked. It's a journalist's job to ask the questions that the people would want to ask and I think it is safe to say there is a significant faction of people who now think Obama is a socialist due to McCain's campaign.

Biden did a great job answering the questions clearly and effectively.

Actually, superheated, fascism is more often associated with millitarism, nationalism, corporatism and anti-communism/socialism/liber­alism. Most fascist dictators are far to the right politically, like Spain's Franco, who set progressive Spain back hundreds of years with his right-wing, millitary authoritarianism.

Um, did any of you bright lights actually listen to the interview? The woman didn't do a scrap of research, she just lifted a list of the most untethered talking points from -- oh, I don't know, Rush Limbaugh? Biden was a lot more polite to her than she deserved. She's a looney tune; her "interview" sounded like she was on LSD.

Yeah, I did listen to the interview, thdcnx. She didn't have to do a whole lot of research, all she had to do was pose questions based on key attack points of McCain's campaign speeches. Where have you been the last two weeks? Did you somehow miss hearing McCain refer (incessantly) to Obama as a socialist and "redistributor of wealth" who is going to "take money from you so he can give it to some one else". I wish her "untethered talking points" came from Rush Limbaugh. The sad truth is they come directly from the dispicable McCain/Palin campaign...which is exactly why there is nothing "indecent" about reporters asking Biden direct questions on those subjects (even if you and I know they are ridiculous).

The indecency is all McCain's.
