The frightening realization...
by Eljem
+2 Reply
Regardless of who is elected, where will the victors find the humility and the losers the good grace to forget their swollen selves? Dangerous and potentially lethal levels of anger and resentment are a likely result if the next winners behave like the last ones did, (twice). Leaders from both parties should begin cautioning their respective constituencies against this now. We are going to need all the cooperation and help we can get from every citizen if we are going to rebuild our severely compromised country and economy. Wining with class seems to be a lost art in both our sporting events and our political contests. This would be a great time to revive it.

I promise to treat Obama with same respect that the liberals treated president Bush and the media treats Sarah Palin. Can you ask for more?

Hopefully we will get that second Civil War and we can put to rest those issues raised in the riots of the early and mid 60's once and for all in one huge and long time coming blood letting where the free man will throw off his elite and proletariat parasites once and for all or he will be totally consumed by them. Either way. Victory or Death! It would be prefferable to life under this Idi Amin the pinko fucks seemed to have elected.

It's amazing how

similar tyrants from either side of the political spectrum sound and behave. You have far more in common with the folks you rant against than you have with most Americans.

or less from you than "them" would be dumb.

I treated Bush with respect until he went off the rails and invaded Iraq. He had a 90% approval rating and squandered it. Things have gotten far uglier than they ever needed to be. He could have united the entire world had he been a better man. Instead he chose to go on his foolish crusade.

Every President deserves a fair chance; America deserves that we give him that chance. If he goes off the rails like Bush did, then you can fairly write him off.

And I for one will only expect republicans to give Obama the same blind unquestioning obedience that they demanded everyone give Bush and accuse anyone who dares to question Obama's policies of being unpatriotic terrorist sympathizers who Want American To Fail (tm). :-)

Okay, In all seriousness, I gave Bush 100% of my support when he went after the people who attacked us on 9/11. I didn't take away my support until he abandoned that mission to chase his personal vendettas in Iraq. Even then, he could have regainned it if he hadn't completely botched the reconstruction and trampled on the Constitution. Bush could have had my support back when I was still in independent. He lost it by being a bad president and he pushed me into registering as a democrat.

I don't expect republicans to give up their poltiical views and obey Obama unquestioningly. But I do hope they take Christopher Buckley's advice and engage in some soul searching and realize how much their "party first" approach to governing has damaged this nation. Hopefully, one day, they'll become a party worth supporting again one day.

Most American turned to shit in the 20th century what with Wilson's league of Nations and FDR's UN and all the hair-brained pinko ideas that goes with them.

America was rasied up by Jesus Christ to be a light unto the world and lead them to righteousness, not climb down into the parasite pit with the stinking vermin and amalgumate with them, or even to let them swamp our ship of state with depravity and ignorance so sickending and thick that the pinko fucks can't help but play to it and use these agents of chaos to enslave the rest of us who, if we are aware, are terribly outnumbered with dross, deadweight and encumberances to national common sense like you and yours. You stupidity is thicker than crusted crap.

This is such a beautiful wish thought ....." Wining with class seems to be a lost art in both our sporting events and our political contests. This would be a great time to revive it."

Has it ever happened in American Politics? Presidents like Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy were all hated in their time...Now they are called "Statesmen" .....all they had to do was die.

I know I can be a good winner....but if it turns out I'm a Loser...I'll Demand A Recount...

What a sweet post...thank you.... bandy

Predicto, you are the last person to reference Jesus Christ with any credibility. Obviously you don't understand his teachings at all. You need to get some help with that hate and anger issue you have.

Old Man McCain and his fascist/racist supportters can stew in their Juices.

If Barrack was not Black, this race would be a freaking landslide. It still may be.

Only 25-30% of this country support McCain. In year's past this would get him elected. Not this year - the country is scared.

You got the crust, pie-face! You no more know Jesus Christ than the Marxist Wonder Nigger you adore. You think to presume to tell anyone at all they know nothing of Jesus? What a joke. Your kind of termerity reminds me of the Pharisees that told Jesus Himself that He didn't know anything about The Messiah. Ha ha ha ha ha! You are the kind of dope that would have argued with John the Baptist.
