A second lawsuit has been filed to force Barack Obama to prove he is a legal US citizen.

It has become obvious to researchers who have unearthed all information available that he is not qualified to run because he is not a US citizen.

He has refused to provide information demanded by the suit in PA.

The newly filed case in WA state is to prevent the Sec of State from from acknowledging his candidacy because he can not prove his citizenship. <link>

I've seen the copy of his (U.S.) birth certificate! Of course he's a citizen! If he has a U.S. birth certificate, unless he's renounced his citizenship (which is both extremely difficult and extremely unlikely), he's a citizen.

By the way, I can file a lawsuit against George W. Bush, claiming he's actually a chimpanzee and thus ineligible to be president if I want to. But the filing of a lawsuit doesn't make it so.

I have seen the computerized analyses of Obama's purported birth certificate and the analyses by three forensic analysts that its a forgery are very convincing.

If Obama has nothing to hide then why is he obfuscating the legal procedure by refusing to cooperate with the legal system?

The obvious is that the forensic alalyses are accurate and Obama has been offering a forged birth certificate as being legitimate.

If it's so obvious, why hasn't McCain made an issue of it? He's losing and is desperate, if you haven't noticed.

""At this point, Mr. Obama has not allowed independent or official access to his birth records nor supporting hospital records," Marquis wrote. "The Hawaii Health Department has violated Federal law by ignoring formal Freedom of Information requests for the same."" <link> The efforts to obtain information from the original Federal lawsuit have been stymied or blocked by the Obama campaign. The suit to hold WA Sec of State accountable results from the Obama campaign's and Hawaii's failure to cooperate with FOIA requests.

The copy is a reasonably sophisticated forgery, but; a forgery! That is the reason for the lawsuits.

The non-partisan group FactCheck.org has examined the birth certificate in Barack Obama's possession. They write: "FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship." <link>

So we're to believe that everyone in this country not jumping up and down screaming about this is complicit in allowing a non-citizen to take over arguably the most powerful position in the world? I guess this is the same logic that Obama "pals around with terrorists?"

Shouldn't we all have the common sense to understand that given McCain's desperate need to avoid a landslide, he would cling to any plausible argument against Obama. Therefore, any argument McCain doesn't whip out must be a non-starter?

I'll try to say something positive here... Archarito, your wealth of ignorance is astounding.

John McCain won't touch this issue because he was born in Panama.

Unlike Sarah Palin, Obama was extremely well vetted. Give the man a chance. Our best leaders have come each time from unexpected backgrounds during extreme times of challenge for us a a nation. That time is now here again. I'm starting to almost fell sorry for the gullible, disillusioned right wing. All the intentional bias news the conservatives are sold and then so quickly willing and questiongly spread as truths, about any fellow citizen viewed as "enemy" has just become sad to witness now.

He was born in the Canal Zone, yes, but his reason for not touching the issue is that he knows that the charge against Obama has no basis in fact. McCain promotes exaggeration and innuendo as long as he can point to some evidence, however unconvincing; the birth certificate thing doesn't even meet that very low standard. Archarito doesn't have any evident standards at all when it comes to attacking Obama.

I know that. I was only teasing poor Archy. I really shouldn't. It is in poor taste to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

I'm at a loss with Archarito, as I've posted elsewhere. I'd been chasing him around the Fray, trying to get him ro acknowledge that his fears about what Obama would do as President don't square with reality, and just when I finally got him to begin to address this...
