Increased taxes on companies and corporations will encourage companies to move out of the US and cause those who remain to have fewer jobs.
Obama's plan to cut tax rates to the middle class while transferring the taxes to corporations and those with higher income will mean that the middle class will pay less taxes directly to the government and more "hidden" taxes in price increases. The price increases may well cost more than the taxes save the middle class which is why Republicans claim - justifiably - that Obama will be raising taxes on us all. What he's doing is a slight of hand, keeping more of our money in our paychecks and then taking it away in higher prices. This will also cost jobs as business seek countries where they are not regulated and taxed to death.
Obama's energy plan is similarly a disaster in the making. I think we can all agree that enegy independence is a must, however, in so doing, Obama is ignoring all proven energy sources while assuming new invention will completely change the way America gets its power in 10 years. This is an assumption from Hell. McCain is far more intelligent in making energy independence a goal and keeping proven sources part of the plan.
Obama's plan for Iraq is nonsensical from any viewpoint. If the war is not winnable or meaningless, why take 15 months to get out. If it is meaningful and winnable, why not make winnning the goal?
Obama's plans make no sense.
