Philadelphia and Wasilla ...
by FormerlyKnownAsIRP

The number of folks in the stands at the Flyers game last night was probably twice the population of Wasilla. The population of the Philadelphia area itself is about 5 times the total population in Alaska.

The crowd showed Governor Palin that what plays in Wasilla doesn't play in Philadelphia and that being mayor of a small town and governor of a small earmark-loving state is not a qualification to be Vice-President of the United States. Neither is the adoration of the Limbaugh/Hannity types.

Palin is a Piece of Shit...Why wouldn't the fans BOO her?

She's far more qualified than Obama. Obama has never had executive responsibility. He is the least qualified candidate for President in history.

I think spending more than 12 years in congress should be a disqualification.

Executive Responsibility?....What a bunch of Bullshit that is....No wonder so many overseas think Americans are idiots...OBAMA 08...Believe it...
We profoundly disagree .....

Obama is MUCH more qualified IMHO. Obama is more qualified than McCain.

BTW, McCain has 26 years in Congress. Obama has 4 years.

Sounds like you don't have much respect for legislative experience.

But, as always, you are entitled to your opinion.

It all depends on what makes a person "qualified" to be president.

Anybody who is smart, sensible, honest, and supports the constitution would be likely to get my vote. Even if they have never served in public office.

I would not likely vote for Palin, but she scores higher in those categories than the other three. Obama might be more intelligent.

No problem ...

Based on the criteria that you laid out, Obama - in my opinion - is way ahead of McCain and McCain is way ahead of Palin who I think is probably intelligent in a street smart way but very uninformed, not sensible (because she is overly rigid and narrow), dishonest (while masquerading as morally upright), and might undermine the constitution (in a Cheney like fashion.) But you are welcome to disagree.

How has Cheny undermined anything? The VP has almost no power on their own. Only the power delegated to them by the president.

Oh,

Lots of Blacks in Philly

Wassila's only black person is also half white, go figure.
But they are not Flyer fans you idiot ...

Sarah was booed by 18,000 white folks with a few black folks sprinkled in the crowd.
