On the one hand, you have the more traditional conservatives like McCain, George Will, and David Brooks who are either stepping back from or denouncing the hate-filled white supremicist populism exuding from right-wing hate radio jocks like Limbaugh, Hannity, and Coulter.

On the other hand, you have the haters and dead-enders who spew hate and falsehoods. Some of those hotheads seem to be threatening armed insurrection. They are the lunatic fringe.

It is time for the traditional conservatives to repudiate the lunatic fringe. I think that the lunatic fringe has given up on the Republican Party and may be ready to create a White People's Party that would promote the rebirth of the Confederacy. The Republican Party would be healthier without those folks.

Playing the race card in order to create hate and division is a long tradition of the democrat party. Why do you do it? Just for political power?

Don't tell me that I am playing the race card. It seems that you think that white racism doesn't exist. Personally, I know that you are better than that. You should explicitly repudiate it. So should Sarah Palin. Quit sticking your head in the sand and saying that it doesn't exist.

White racism exists among a very small portion of the population. It does not include Hannity, Limbaugh or Palin.

The democrat hate mongers who want to create racial division make those accusations.

I know that it includes Limbaugh. I think that it includes Hannity (though it wouldn't come out in public). The jury is out on Palin.

I do think that white racism is a minority position among whites. I know that you are not a racist. But I think that white racism is a bit more extensive than you seem to think.

And I think that when conservatives show a reluctance to condemn it when they hear it, it is dangerous because it turns a blind eye to potential vigalanteism.

I have never heard Rush make a racist comment. He has black friends, blacks on his staff and black guest hosts.

I am sure Obama wishes he could control some of his idiot supporters as much as McCain does.
