Aye, it's good to see what ordinary, decent, people can do all on their own. It's not a lot, but means a lot.
At least those people are allowed to

honor the passing caskets. Here, they're brought in by dark of night and the public is not allowed any where near. Rest assured that if they could there would be all sorts of acknowledgement by large groups of people here.

People are pretty much people everywhere. It's their gov'ts that get in the way.

Wulk, some here pay that sort of tribute, expecially when the nut case minister tries to invade the space. The most unlikely group is a motorcycle club that provides a shield fro the mourners at funerals. But to see a whole town turn out is awesome. And it's a pleasant change from potics as usual.

Remember, that little town turns out every time a military coffin goes through, ever since RAF Lyneham was designated as the airfield for our forces dead to be brought back to the UK - they've done it 127 times.
