what, in your opinion, does McCain need to do to turn things around?

Do you believe he can turn it around in time to win?

I think I just saw a tumbleweed roll by this post. The GOP has officially pulled a Roberto Duran. No mas!
It's too late now...

But, back at the convention, had he tried to communicate a positive narrative, a story of the next 4 years under a mccain presidency, he might be alot closer to Obama. The negativity and cluelessness he's demonstrated over the past several weeks has instead reinforced all the worst suspicions that America had about him, that he's out of touch and filled with rage.

It's too late to turn it around at this point, a person can only reinvent themselves so many times in the course of a political campaign, but his campaign wasn't always as hopeless as it is now.

I don't think McCain can do anything. I appreciate that he is not attacking Obama's character.

I believe that if enough people who are undecided look at things and see that while Obama is a "good" person, his associations with some very bad people show us that his judgment cannot be trusted. He felt it was okay to associate with these people in order to get to where he is.........the "means" was justified by the end he wanted to reach. Those people who do not believe that the way you get to your goal is okay whatever you have to do.......... just get to the goal...... won't be voting for Obama.

I think McCain should just tell us what he would do as President. Show how the Democrat statements that a McCain Presidency would be just like a continuation of Bush is a lie......... and whatever happens happens.
