This is a use of the word "fact" that is new to me. The way I use the word, if something is a "fact" then there is some evidence to support it. And by "evidence", I mean something other than "I read it in a blog" or "Rush said it, I believe it, that settles it." So, I invite you to pick one of your many assertions -- pick the one you think most likely to be a "fact" -- and offer any evidence for it whatsoever. If you can't do this, then what you mean by "fact" is obviously very different from what I mean by "fact".

Despite all his powerful liberal friends he was once TRADED for Ray Sadecki. RAY SADECKI! And a washed up Ray Sadecki! No, the people who know Joe Torre know he's not right for our 'TEAM'.

We as Americans cannot elect a President who does not believe in hard work, who supports and employs cheaters and philanderers, or who was traded for Ray Sadecki. And that's not even talking about the UN-AMERICAN monopoly on World Championships the Yankees tried to get during his time in NEW YORK. New York, the city he ABANDONED just when they needed him!!!!! His association with Manny Ramirez is unacceptable, and so is Joe Torre!!!!

I saw a lot of the Leafs game last night, they looked good for the first time,,,,in a very long time. Its tough coming out of the gate after a cup final (especially when you won) the intensity after playing in that tournament is just not there in October.

I think the Yankees screwed Torre, one sports writer put it best when he said (paraphrasing) "A classless organization let the only thing they had with class go" so I am kinda hoping he wins just to stick it to them.

That was a great a methaphor by the way.

Nice to see that uptick from Toronto; I think I'll just never get used to not seeing a Canadian squad in the thick of things, so the more the merrier... this whole California/Texas/Florida thing is still disorienting.

No question the Yankees screwed Torre, but the upside is that in doing so they removed the last reason they were due any respect at all.
