This is one of the latest of the sleaze pieces that Slate and the rest of the liberal media have run to attack REAL Americans for daring to ask that our country be defended from terrorists. Terrorists like Bill Ayers, the SDS, ACORN, and al Qaeda! What you need to remember is this: writers like this man hate America, hate our values, hate our "imperialism", and will do anything they can to elecet Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

John McCain is a former POW and an American hero. For Slate to call him "scary" is borderline treason. You are proving yet again that the day is coming when we're going to need to save the country, and that means resisting the forces of international socialism that YOU represent!

Where to start with such nonsense?

1. Bill Ayers: Bill Ayers committed his crimes over 30 years ago; he had all charges against him dropped; and he currently works as a distinguished university professor in Chicago. He is also very active in community service, nonprofit organizations, and local government. He is hardly a terrorist. Former terrorist, sure.

2. SDS: in 2006, a new student movement formed and took its name from the old 1960s student movement. It is hardly a terrorist organization by any stretch of the imagination.

3. ACORN--the recent hate being leveled against ACORN is just mind boggling. I guarantee 99.9% of those attacking ACORN, like SAFC, doesn't even know anything about ACORN beyond what they heard on FOX News and/or Free Republic, Rush Limbaugh, or the like.

4. Al Qaeda--linking any of the three of the above to al Qaeda is just insane.

5. How is calling someone "scary" borderline treason? You commit treason against a country, not an individual.

Are the people that have these crazy posts on the fray REAL? Specifically, do they beleive this stuff or are they just trying to stir the pot? When I was a teenager I would have engaged in that kind of behavior.

The First and the Second go together like bread and butter, comrade.

Who is trying to outlaw your rifle and Bible? No politician in their right mind would ever challenge the 1st or second Amendment on those terms, sir. Just like no politician will ever really challenge Roe v. Wade no matter how tough they talk - they would never do that because it would be grossly unpopular and political suicide. It just goes to show, most of these guys don't even believe their own BS.

It's funny to create these "straw boogeymen" that don't exist, then punch them down, or shake them at people to scare them, but in the end it's all fake. As to your complaints with what liberals get away with, actually, there was a big article in my hometown newspaper about a local Catholic priest who compares Obama to Hitler - and don't even get me started on the wacky comparisons and name calling Rush Limbaugh and his dittoheads are making to the antichrist!!! It doesn't get much lower than that.

Perhaps we have a moment of agreement. I agree, there should be total justice for the victims of that air bombing. It would help if Democrats had a spine and allowed our military to do its job without threatening to withold funding and denying the troops body armor so they can have one of their pet projects with "minorities". These all miss the point that what inner city people desperately need is a strong dose of JESUS and then they will have their dignity restored, not taken away by communist ideology that denies black people have an immortal SOUL!!!!!
