It seems a bit fruity that McCain would castigate a planetarium for wanting, shockingly enough, the super sophisticated projector that they use. It seems like a petty and absurd attack. But not so.

Becuase McCain is old. Really really old. How old? He's so old that he can remember when the Universe was only a couple of hundred thousand miles across and so planatariums weren't even need. It's like when you were a kid and had to explain to your dad that though lunch cost a nickle when he was a kid it's not that way anymore.

Of course, Palin is worse. She just thinks the universe, all 35 billion light years across of it, was created in 6 days.

And the money hasn't even been released yet, so there is no 3 million dollar planetarium.

it's an awesome planetarium. my dad took me to see it as kid.

That was the old one Julie, I remember as well, the money was "earmarked" to upgrade the old projector with a new modern one, but as I said earlier, the money has yet to be released, so there is no new projector to date.

Let them have the super projector, cheap compared to trillions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$­$

McCain loves to brag that he gets no earmarks for Arizona...no he just votes for all the bills giving millions to all the other states.
