Let's talk about GOP voter fraud
by duckandcover

The board is full of Acorn stuff about a relatively small number of people improperly or even illegally registered to vote.

Of course, this pales in comparison to the crap that the GOP pulls every election cycle by the myriad of stunts it has pulled ot ensure that poor valid voters can't vote. Some are illegal but many aren't but what they all are is anti-democratic. They have gone out of there way to make it very diffuclt for poor people who don't own cars to vote. They have pulled all kinds of shennigans sending false polling place information to people.

The bottom line is this. Fuck these sanctimonious republicans. They have no respect for democracy.

Be sure to vote for Obama by himself first

rumor - via e-mail, I'm not taking a chance

For those who normally vote 'Straight Democratic', please pay close attention!!!!! I was informed this weekend by a group of Obama volunteers that when voting for the presidential candidate this November, you have to make sure you punch Barack's name first, then proceed to punch 'Straight Democratic' or else the vote for the president won't count. I'm not sure if any of you are aware of this, but we know they won't tell us this at the poles. Please make sure you inform others.

youre mistaken

GOP backed the Democrats against Nader in Ohio so Nader couldn't get ballot access to contest the election. Kerry conceeded without counting ONE electronic voting machine. Don't Taz me bro but KERRY WON.

In 1992 I had personally my precinct uncounted ballots, 10K, in a long line with other precinct insteptors for the registrar's office when Clinto was named preisident.. That's how I, a libertarian, left the Libertarian Party and became an indy joining Nader to see what we're getting for our money.

RIPPED OFF

It took two parties to do this.

Were any of the people convicted of anything? If they were guilty and convicted good. If they weren't then you don't have a case, your talking 2004. This is 2008 and I don't know about you, but I'd like to see a clean election where the people choose. So I hope they tract down every case and throw the assholes in jail.

Maybe none of these group should be allowed to go out and register anyone. Voting is a personal responsibility and getting there to do it should be too, then maybe our elections will be cleaner. Anyone that really wants to vote can find away to do it. Picking up people off the street that don't even know whats going on to vote is stupid.
