High caste hindus (such as the Hindu engineers, shop owners, doctors and lawyers that are establishing themselves and their religio/cultural caste system in America) are fighting back in India, however -- fighting to the death against the Christians.

Although there are only a tiny fraction of poor Indians who are Christian, their insistence hat God loves us all equally and their rejection of segregation is a mortal threat to all Hindus and Hinduism.

Let's not get carried away with the christian chauvinism. First of all- there have been christians in India since well before western missionaries arrived. They have been christians far longer than the Church of England has been around. Secondly- Islam has played a far more significant role in helping the lower castes escape from their misery. Thirdly, the religious violence in India is not at all new. The worst of it usually between the muslims and hindus, and sometimes the Sikhs. Unfortunately a lot of people like you only pay attention when christians are killed.
