Hey, biteoftheweek . . .
by thelyamhound

Remember the pics you said you wanted to see the other day? From the solo show?

I've posted some on the blog. Here you go.

Well and good. Wasn't exactly "private"; I only singled bite out 'cause she was asking yesterday.

I posted on yer blog. It's really a good one - I need to tear myself off of here anyway.

That gives me another reason to do so!
Of What Are Your Claws Composed?

O wolverine.

I do hope you avoid any display toward the Annie Sprinkle stuff.

Aw, that's all jump-rope and capoeira in the living room. Lotsa handstands and the like. And boxing. Some knuckle push-ups (leftover from the Goju-Ryu days). That sort of thing.

Anyway, thanks. Makin' me blush. ;^)

No, no, not my style.

I did see one of her shows, though. Fun.

Fact is, for all my bravado on the matter of transgressive art, I tend to skew neo-classical, with dashes of magic realism and a whole heap of hallucinatory hypotaxis. What I like to consume is one thing, but as an actor and writer, my influences are Shakespeare, Beckett, Blake, and Brecht (that's not to say I claim to be anywhere near that good, but rather, that those are the voices that shape my aspirations).

Ahhh...

this is why your Godot references ring so true! :)

Did an interesting correlation study once between Shakespeare's Corialanus, Brecht's and TS Eliot's unfinished poem.

There are some very odd and provocative interplays between them.

Especially in light of Mother and Mother Church.

Oh - let's save this for a rainy day!! :)
