I think you missed the point.

They already made their money, at the expense of everyone else. This and 1929 are a prime example why strict government regulation is needed. When it is relaxed the same thing happens over and over and over and over again.

Perhaps but where do they put the ill gotten gains now? Kill the goose, poison the well, it's the same thing.
