...from a basic human stand-point...

...shouldn't McCain and Palin both stop the rhetoric for just a moment during their rally's and put the election in its proper context when someone or a group at the rally shout out things like, "...kill him" when referring to Obama?

...not calling this expressed sentiment out is simply uncalled for. McCain and Obama are Opponents not Enemies. Not saying anything is condoning this type of sentiment and potential behavior and shows support for assassination - is that what this election has become???

...as consistent with McCain's recent behavior he fails the basic civility test time and again. He is no more of a "hero" than Ayers and would add that condoning assassination by ot calling it out is equal to being a terrorist...

It's exactly what they're after

And the average American, even the low info voter whom they're after will find it despicable.
...just standing there and saying nothing is...

...offensive to Obama and to Americans everywhere. Palin, I can almost forgive because she is simply a drone/tool and can only regurgitate what she is fed - but McCain - he should be above this and he clearly is not...

An Obama assination is viewed as either a joke in the Con world:

or political strategy:

This shows how sick the left is...

..."The Secret Service did not hear any threatening statements directed at targets under its protection and no threatening statements were reported to us by law enforcement or citizens at the event," Wiley told Radar. Also unclear: whether the remark was directed at Obama or Ayers if the words were actually "kill" and "him."

...in either case it is an outrage against humanity...

...and for McCain to say nothing is simply unforgivable...
They should stop it. Unfortunately, they aren't
by LT-7
likely to. It is saddening to see how uncivilized people are... even those who are supposed to be leaders. McCain and Palin are an embarrassment.
...now that is convoluted logic if I have ever read it...
by Figjam

...so you condone the sentiment of "kill him" regardless of who it is directed towards, is that right?

...anytime a speaker allows uncivilized comments to go unchecked it is a driect reflection on them - McCain is a coward if he let's statements such as "kill him" go unchecked...

...McCain is an embarassment and a coward...
by Figjam
...Palin, ummm, not so much - she is a drone who is only capable of regurgitating exactly what she is fed - which is why she is no longer available to the press...
Read much?

Unsubstantiated as to those even being the words uttered.

The media reports something that secret service, law enforcement, and citizens at the scene can not confirm. Real good reporting there.

Her stupidity is embarrassing, too. She isn't innocent of this stuff. She could refuse to regurgitate that baloney. Even an idiot knows that stuff is low.
