More GOP "Dumb-o-graphic":
by duckandcover

Just another example of the GOP, even in their "intellectual" orgs, reveling in ignorance. Now they mock Obama's correct pronunciation of the names of countries. What is it with these idiots? They love Bush who can't form a sentence. They love Palin who can't pronounce nuclear or Iraq. Why is ignorance such a virtue to them? (I can answer that..it's their "dumb-o-graphic")

Right-Wingers Mock Obama's "Ostentatiously Exotic" Pronunciation Of Pakistan
Barack Obama pronounces "Pakistan" correctly, with a soft "a," just like a lot of people who know what they're talking about, including Gen. David Petraeus. Apparently, having completely run out of compelling policy arguments to make, some high-profile conservatives have decided to make this their latest campaign hobbyhorse.

The National Review's Mark Stein, for example, said that Obama prefers the "exotic pronunciation." He added, "[O]ne thing I like about Sarah Palin is the way she says 'Eye-raq'."

This came after the National Review's Kathryn Jean Lopez posted an email that argued, "[N]o one in flyover country says Pock-i-stahn. It's annoying."

Republicans also laughed at the idea of keeping your tires inflated. And mocked Obama for suggesting the proven mileage increasing measure.

I even heard one republican say that we would save more gasoline by drilling in ANWAR than we could ever save by inflating our tires.

I wanted to point out that drilling PRODUCES more oil, not necessarily save gasoline, but I realized I was dealing with a Republizombie. Any attempt at reason would be futile.
