Men who fear cats
by Tonydtr
I'm a man who grew up in the streets of The Bronx and I like cats. Last week I read about a 205 lb X a few asemi pro baseball player that was aquitted for kicking to death his girlfriends 7 lb declawed taby. It seems Mr. Macho was jealous of his womans affection for the fluffy feline, so after a few drinks took his vengence after chasing the woman out of the apartment. I'm quite certain the writer of this piece believes the defences argument " that a 7 lb declawed housecat attacked this 205lb athlete with intent to kill'' It is strange that some men feel that their masculinity is in question if they like cats.

It's not strange. It's what our society has told us to do and most of the weak-minded little fellas have fallen into their place. I moved into a slightly urban setting and all of my new friends, male and female couldn't believe it when they found out that even though I was state ranked baseball player and nationally ranked swimmer.....gasp......I don't watch sports on TV and don't know who any of the teams are. And I don't care to start watching sports an time in the near future. By the same token, I have always loved cats for their fierce demeanor and independence and don't care if society approves or not. I'm just an old country boy and it may kill marketers but all of the guys I grew up with like cats and none of the guys I grew up with watch NASCAR OR professional sports.

To be frank most of us(country boys that I grew up with) are of the opinion that those who spend hours and hours watching other men on TV and idolizing them for years is a lot more homosexual than liking cats.

That would be the last thing a punk like that would do if I was around.

In fact, I HAVE gotten into some nasty ones when I've seen someone abuse an aminal.
I absolutely do not tolerate that.
