I was sorry that Senator Obama didn't point out last night that John is worse than George regarding Medicare & Medicaid funding.

McCain is proposing to cut those two programs by $1,300,000,000,000 dollars (1.3 trillion) over the next 10 years. <link> In comparison, George proposed cutting those programs by $199,000,000,000 ($182 billion for Medicare & $17 Billion for Medicaid) over a 5 years period in his 09 budget proposal. <link>

Former Senator Gramm (D) Fl, said that the proposal would result in a %20 cut in funding. As it is, Medicare barely covers the costs for much of the treatment that doctors provide to patients. <link>

No wonder John wants to change the subject. Look out Florida. Look out inner cities and poor rural communities. John McCain is a wolf in wolve's clothing but with sunglasses and a mouth shut.
